However, I want to share with you some powerful information about love languages.
I want to share with you information that Dr. Gary Chapman has written a book entitled The 5 Love Languages. This book spent over 50 months on the Bestseller list. That is awesome and speaks in volumes. I believe in giving you all nothing but the best.
In accordance with keeping you abreast with nothing but the best, I share with you the love languages.
Dr. Chapman says “A love language is the way we express our devotion and commitment, and it can be learned or changed to touch the hearts of our partners.”
Here are the five love languages. Not only will I share Dr. Chapman’s love languages, but I will give you insight into these that you will not find in his book.
Words of Affirmation-These people operate upon an auditory frequency. They need words of encouragement and affirmation from their mate, partner, or parent. These people need to have conversations with their loved one. They are empowered by meaningful conversations.
When they fail to receive words of affirmation it dries up their spirit.
Receiving Gifts-Some people were born to receive gifts. Some people are natural born gold diggers. I do not say this to discredit anyone who has this love language. I am only sharing great information on why some people are programmed to receive gifts from others.
Quality Time- These individuals like to spend quality time with their significant others, partners, or parents. It is of vital importance that you spend quality time with this person. If you fail to do so they will find someone who will spend time with them. I know because this is my love language.
Acts of Service-These individuals love to serve others. They do this in a number of ways. Oftentimes in any way they feel the other party will benefit. They can do it in words, gifts, time, deeds, and touch. If you don’t allow them to be themselves you can dampen their spirit.
Physical Touch-These people operate upon the same frequency as kinesthetic people. However, this is the primary way they express themselves to their lovers and desire to be shown love on this level.
